A cathedral draws the eye upward. I borrowed that sense of height for Blood Ruby Cathedral, letting the long points carry carved ornament toward a flash of crimson. The ruby-toned accents feel almost like small stained-glass windows against the darker relief. It is a dramatic set, but I wanted every cross, edge and stone to have its own place.
