I did not want every nail to repeat the same arrangement. The plum colour holds the set together, while the larger violet stones and pearls give each tip a different weight and character. Seen side by side, the contrasts feel intentional rather than uneven. The name came from that jewel-like centre, rich and difficult to ignore.
